well i gotta show u some pics and u will under stand exactly why i bought it. It had 100,000 miles (yeah kinda steap), 5 Zigen Exhaust, AEM Cold Air Intake, lowered, and absolutly everything was clean. One or two scratches in the paint if that. And in the one picture you can see the car I drove before it...which I still drive :) i love my 1983 BMW. And also wanted to kinda have something a little faster and something i could add little things to; as you can see this looks wayyyyyyy better then having a civic :). I know you're gonna saw gsx and GST, i dont have that kinda money. I got this baby for $2,300!!!! I'm up to 120,000 miles and this baby still runs strong! I have done all the minor upgrades (Performance clutch, highflow cat and a few other things) and this summer im gonna do all the engine work and maybe NOS or Turbo, still looking at pros and cons.

1. Everything is better than a civic.
2. Really, most of the mods available for that motor, are already there... short of Forced Induction..on the other hand I dont deal with 420a... Youre best source of knowledge here is gonna be TE and Ron.

But looking at the pics and the price and what im looking for, you think I made the right decision? I mean if i had a few grand, GSX is where I'd be. Also since they have the same body style sorta, what would you suggest for exterior and interior design...or should I be in a different fourm for that?

alright about this FI thing your looking to do. Let me put it this way so you dont think your gonna do it for cheaper. You ARE NOT gonna get into the 14's without more than 3k into the engine. Plain and simple.

Yeah thats not a problem. I'm looking at probably 5k.. turbo and I am def getting forged pistons and all that junk to make it less likely i break something. I mean by the end I could have just got a GSX maybe because what are they like 7kish for a decent one. The only reason I jumped on this offer was because it was so clean. I'm trying to get some better pictures this weekend. Those two dont do it justice. Also you think 5k could maybe get me into the high 13's? I really don't know the potential of the 420a. So if someone could gimme a break down like price---time about, that would be very helpful. :) sorry for the newb like questions. Also with headers, high flow cat, exhaust, short ram, and im gonna add a intake manifold, do you think I could be close to 190-200 hp?
