Does anybody know how to remove the shift knob so that it can be replaced with a Momo Air Race unit or possibly a Momo F-16?

There has to be a different answer.  Chopping it would make it toooooooo short.  I like the pic as instruction though.

Oh but I am serious. LOL. Check for allen keys holes or a clip under the knob of it that will release it. I don't feel like going outside right now to check myself.

I have removed knobs from other vehicles, and have in hte past found clips and allen screws....in this case I have not.  I will look further when I make it outside.  It is just toooooooo cold here in Chicago to play outside.

Seeing as there's no clips or allen screws have you tried grabbing hold and just unsrewing the whole thing?

That is the next plan of attack when I eventually make it outside.  Will post results of that soon.
