Nice mods....Welcome

rapperbasher -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:08:04 AM)

also forgot to add in it ahs the balance shafts removed and .395 wide thrust modification to get rid of any chance of it crankwalking on me

Sebba -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:08:57 AM)

How is that meant to stop crankwalk?

rapperbasher -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:23:01 AM)

because the stock balance shafts wear quickly from the strain of the turbo so with .395" bore and performance bearings it gives the crank a longer stroke with more back pressure as opposed to a shorter stroke at higher speeds hence leading to less wear in the bearings leaving no room for the crank to become loose

Sebba -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:39:52 AM)

Call me stupid but that makes no sence to me. Is there a technical write up someplace?

rapperbasher -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:43:18 AM)

i pick the car up from the mechanics on weds so ill see if he can explain it better to me because honestly i dont really understand it all to much myself all i know is that he gaurentteed 0 crankwalking with free replacement if it does so w/e it is has to work pretty well

Sebba -> RE: whats up everyone (4/9/2007 12:48:07 AM)

Seriously, that wont reduce your chances of crankwalk
