I'm thinking about painting a few pieces of my interior. If I do it I was thinking of doing the piece around the hvac controls/deck, the piece just above that around the vents, and the one around the fog light/cruise/mirror controls. My interior is black and tan and the whole dash part is kinda boring cause it's all black, I would do those pieces in tan to match the rest of the tan just to break it up a little bit. What do you guys think?

I think that it would look pretty good as long as you got the paint to match the tan.

Cool, thanks, I'm not as sure about it now, I'll probably sit on it for a while, or see if I can pick up those pieces from a junkyard and paint those, that way if I don't like it I can put my stock ones back in.

Yea, then if I don't like it I don't have to look for the right color to get it back, if I'm painting the ones from a junkyard it doesn't matter what color I find them in, makes things easier that way too.

Dude, I'd say you're pretty solid, you don't need our advice :) Safe bet with the junk yard idea. I know exactly where you're talking about and totaly agree with you. I was just telling my girl that I wanted to do it in hers becasue its just too boring. I like the tan idea because I have it on my doors but she doesn't like the tan or the blue that's there either. She wants me to strip it and accent it all in chrome. What do you guys think? Personally I like to keep it as stock as possible. Plus you know women who aren't knowledgable in this kind of thing so she'll tell me something then realize it doesn't look to good. I don't want to be doing this 3 and 4 times.

AWWW You very wise man Daniel Son! That's not an enrirely bad idea! You have eased much of my frustratoin. This girl has had the car 4-5 days and she's driven it twice. She wont drive it because she's scared to weck it. And everday I hear when are yo ugoing to deck out my car.....WHEN YOU GET SOME MONEY!!! She expects me to paint the damn interior in sub zero temps! HA! Then she wants my $500 deck because when I traded in MY Prelude to buy HER Eclipse I took my deck out of the lude and put in her crap sony (That I bought in the first place) from her old beater car. So now apparently she feels I owe her my Pioneer 8600MP. And a pair of subs because I had bought her some and she didn't want them in her car so I used them and then sold them. THE NERVE. She's lucky she's cute or I have to curb her smart a$$. Don't ever buy your girlfriends ANYTHING.
