Id call it a Mitsu. Smiley... more so than DSM...

So it can be a smiley....so people can use this instead of typing Mitsubishi...Or something around those lines

i mean it would look cool in a post, i just dont see it being used since its alot easier to type mitsu than it is to look up a smiley for it

Idealy, TE, it could be typed out... couldnt it? Some kind of format like ::mits:: or something?

For DSM, Id suggest more of a logo that morphs between the Eagle, Mitsu and Plymouth logos... Ive seen such a gif on other sites
