I recently bought a 1995 Galant ES... the previous owner told me the fuel pump was completely gone, and it was, it wasnt working.... so i bought a new fuel pump and filter, had them installed, fuel pump is working fine, but the car still wont start,,,,so called mechanic said it wasnt firing, he said no spark, but all fuses were good and distributor was fine..... what could the problem be... it cranks fine and at times acts like it wants to fire right up, but the it just wont, new battery also, just drains from cranking trying to start... any idea what could be wrong, please help if you can, im currently without transportation, and in desparate need of help.... and hoping for a simple inexpensive solution
