FOX -> '99 Galant - Band Expander (4/14/2007 9:02:08 PM)

I have a '99 Jap Import Galant (1830 Viento GDI), It has the original Stereo which doesn't cover the entire frequency range.
I've laid my hands on a band expander, but being a bit of a numpty I'm not sure of the best way to fit it. I currently have NO tools (next to none anyway) so i'm not to keen on trying to take the head unit out. The car appears to have it's antenna in the rear screen so I'm wondering if I can fit the expander in the boot (trunk) somewhere?
I really need the easiest option for this and I know nothing about these cars!
Any help will be much appreciated.
