Hey, me and a friend are installing lowering springs on a 2002 Eclipse GT this evening. Just wanted to check with anyone who might now, are there any problems that I might run into or things I should keep an eye out for when doing the install. And for anyone who's done it, how long did it take you? We don't have air tools available for this install, so it's going to be a little slower than usual, but I told the kid that owns it maybe 4-5 hours, is that about right for a good install (that's a little more than it was on mine, but we had all the air tools and appropriate jacks and everything).

thats sounds about right for the install. Having the air tools would definetly make it easier but you should run into any problem. I believe they are just like any other strut setup

i think the 19mm i going to be a bitch to get off... like john  said.. air tools will make the process go alot faster.. and make sure you dont mess up when you compress the springs.. and decompress them.. you could get really hurt with that stuff,.

Ended up having an issue removing the rear strut/spring assembly. Couldn't get the bottoms to unbolt from the arm.....so we basically tore down the entire rear suspension, but only got the pass side done. We ran out of time, and since the car is sitting in a garage anyway for the time being, we're going back on sunday to complete the install (and then I'm re-wiring his audio cuz the guy who did it for him sucks balls). Other than have 3 Skunk2 springs and one OEM one, everything turned out wonderfully. And I did splurge and get myself a 7 gallon air compressor and had my buddy bring his impact, I wasn't about to keep wrenching on all that stuff all night.
