I want to make my 2003 gs sound better. I'm thinking about running straight pipes but i'm not sure if that is a good idea. I might just put a different muffler on it.

I'm pretty much just looking for any and all ideas here.

personally I'd suggest the evo II cat back, and in many locations straight piping is illegal, check your local laws.

Pretty much: If you dont live in FL, dont bother putting a strait pipe in... It wont pass inspection.

I live in Michigan. So there is no inspection. but I most likly wouldn't do straight pipes.

Well thanks for the help guys. But since I just totaled my car I guess I don't need to know what exhaust to put on. Wish me luck in getting a new car. I would like a Mitusibishi Evo VIII OR IX when they come out. But I don't have too much money. All my money was in that car and I didn't have full coverage on it
