500$ rebate for owning a mitsubishi, I couldn't get the grad rebate since my mom and dad signed for it to have it in their insurance and to get the lowest APR. It was the last day of the month and the salesman was trying to get his bonus. I knew what they paid for the car and got it cheap as possible. I live in NJ but it was right across the river in PA. The dealer was Peruzzi Mitsubishi in Fairless Hills PA. They have selling really good and the dealers cant keep them on the lot so good luck getting a low price now.

A note to those still buying and looking for deals. As I had written before, I bought my Outlander through the Costco program. However, I think some dealers are pulling a fast one to get more from the deal than what is promised through the Costco program. Here is my story: I inquired through Costco to this dealer about the Costco $500 over invoice deal. They sent me back a quote for a California 2WD Sun/Sound, NAV, Luxury model for $27,277 before the $500. This could be seen on Edmunds.com, and I made sure it was correct. However, when I got to the dealer, they now said invoice was $27,590. I was like "what???!!" I argued back and forth about the extra $330 that was slipped in there. It was not like this is a big financial burden, but it was more about the honesty of the deal and how they went back on their quote, which I had printed out on an email from them. Well, If you do a price check on an Oultander, you will see that you can add on EITHER a NAV package or an "accessory NAV package". An accessory NAV package is NAV that they install when the car comes off the ship into port. I have no idea WHY they would do this. Anyway, the extra $300 is because the car I wanted had this "accessory" version in it. I cried foul a bunch of times, but they would not relent. I believe the dealers may be fabricating the fact that a regular 'ol NAV system is an "accessory" NAV system so that they can make a few extra bucks on top of the Costco program which limits them to a specific amount. So, my word to the wise is to make sure you know what kind of NAV you are getting in the vehicle you have picked out. Then, negotiate from there. Aside from this issue, the Costco program is great and there were no other issues. It was still cheaper after this scam to buy from them than any of the other dealers in the area. All of them were asking $28,000 after haggling.

Just took the plunge thursday. No options XLS AWD @ invoice ($23577 + 625destination) 2.9% for 60 months (no rebates) And gave me a good trade (closer to Edmunds "private sale" estimate) I think the LS has the rebate, and the XLS has the financing.

I bought my 2007 Outlander XLS fully loaded (Nav, Sun & Sound & Lux) used with 2500 miles for $21,000 off ebay. Hence the vehicle was in California and I live on the East coast (MD) and they had to ship it. So minus $1000.00 for the shipping I pretty much bought the car for 20k. Awesome deal don't you think! Only problem was the wait...

In Canada, got a good deal $34,500.00 for XLS AWD with Navi (MSRP here is $36,998, yikes!). XLS in Canada only has one option, the Navi, so everything else is included (leather seats, sun/sound package, etc. etc. etc.) Dave
