I finally had the opportunity to take the outlander out on a long drive, mainly all highway. and the wind noise is ridicoulous. its not coming from the windows its coming from like the front of the car.. is anybody else experiencing this.

I don't notice any unusual noise levels. Granted my Pontiac GrandPrix was quieter. It probably has to do some with tire noise, the thin firewall, any intake modifications you've done, and possibly a poor windshield seal. This model is the bargain car/suv after all. Quality isn't top-flight at our pricepoint.

Maybe you should have the dealer check it out..........It should not be that loud.

It's actually pretty typical for the higher profile vehicle, I have an 01 Galant and an 03 Outlander.

Seems like it's part tires, and you get a lot of air movement around the side mirrors also, but I expected a little bit of wind noise with the Outlander anyway.
The Galant is real quiet.
