That's a 6G 88-92 Galant and by the looks of it's body trim, it looks like a VR4.  I don't think it is though, the lower grill isn't big enough.

Here's something for you OP.
quote:

What's Good

Quite good looking and well equipped. GLSI an early beneficiary of ABS. Much improved by Diamond Option Pack. Wood trim packs also help. Normal models very reliable. What's Bad

4WD/4WS model too complicated to make a sound second-hand buy. Diesel engine only available briefly in 1989. Parts for major repairs are expensive.

What to Watch Out For

If fitted with ABS, make sure warning light goes out and that it works. Check for aircon and, if fitted, make sure it delivers cold air. Independent servicing once warranty ran out may have been skimped. Water pumps go (check expansion tank level and check under oil cap for mayonnaise indicating a cooked engine and cylinder head trouble). Power steering pump or rack may leak fluid. Engines wrecked by timing belt failure, so best changed every 36,000 miles or every three years. Uneven tyre wear on 4WD/4WS could signify suspension problems which cost a fortune to put right. Getting old now, so check carefully for rust.

Recalls

23/5/2003: Possible that due to poor welding of the levelling valve on the fuel tank fuel may leak. Fit new, improved fuel tank.
