Its hard to compare from the picture on mitsubishi's website. It looks the same and then again the one on the website tends to look a bit thinner. It appears that they stick out the same distance. Looks good though.

Heres an update so far. This is the conclusion I have come to regarding Mitsu corp and comparing my past experience with GM. Mitsu may not have come up with a perfect vehicle, heck first gens always have issues even when you leave the world of vehicles (Ive repaired equipment for 20 yrs) You want a nightmare just be a tech on a first gen copy machine The difference with Mitsubishi is that they try and resolve their issues in a timely manner. It only took them 4 months to come out with a TSB on the bearings. And they dont seem to be hassleing anyone over it. Compared to my GM 3.4LV6 engine that they use in just about everything. That GM engine had a history of failing manifold gaskets for 8 freakin years before they even bothered to do anything about them. In 2003 they finally redesigned the gasket, it was sheer just plain laziness or lack of caring or both. I know this because the aftermarket gaskets had allready studied the issue and redesigned their own. I paid $1000 to use an aftermarket gasket rather than for GM to put in the same exact crappy gasket. And if that doesnt piss a person off I found out today that my 12 yr old GM truck has a leaky manifold gasket, fortunately this one leaks the coolant out of the engine instead of filling the oil with coolant like my other GM engine did. Did they learn NO! Ok so Im done ranting about GM They have ordered the bearings and foam for the noisy mirror that just showed up the other day. Strangely it didnt sound the way I expected. The dealer reset the memory to clear the "learned" driving memory, this seems to have improved the lag in 2nd gear. I also got to drive a Sonata while the Outie was being looked at it has a delay in 2nd however its not as long. Ill drive it for a while and see if it doesnt sort itself out. It was kinda fun at the gas station I had quite the fan club, showed people the Outie, one guy even had a new Envoy said he wanted his dad to get an outie They all commented on how much room there is and how nice it looks. I even had to laugh at myself, I was wondering if I should have gotten the Aqua even though the other choices I had, most everyone likes, I didnt care for. So Im waiting for them to pull the outie around looking into the bay when I catch a glimpse of this vehicle that I thought looked pretty cool and the color looked good too. I walk over to the window to see what it was, it was then that I realized it was my own car *doh* So I guess I do like the color
