Well everyone is always asking how can they get alittle more power out of their eclipse for cheap. Well here is a free mod that will add about 2psi. The BCS (Boost Control Solenoid) does exactly as it states. It acts as a stock boost controller connected to your wastegate though a vaccuum line. Here is how its done:

1. You must first remove you intake to access the area where the BCS is located. It is right below your intake pipe next to the coolant resevior. Shown below and circled in green.


Here is a close-up of the restrictor


And here are a couple pics of what the fitting where the restrictor is located inside of.



2. What you need is something simple like a screw that you thread in. Something like this:


and you thread it in a bit and slowely pull the restrictor out the the solenoid. You can see the restrictor on the end of the screw. Then re-install the vaccuum line. And you have now just added alittle extra to your car for free.
