Well i finally lost...but it had to be to a honda...probably about a 94-96 Hatchback Si..**** was flying i didnt have a chance thru any gear...totally got raped..we pulled over later down the highway and his **** is totally stock just like mine...is it my car that is ****ed up or are the Si civics just fast.

Those little Si's are built for acceleration, they are quick, but I do believe you should've been able to beat him in the top end...

92-95 hatch back SI's came with d16z6 motors.  1.6 liters that maybe make 98 whp.  They are slow as balls BUT a lot of people swap the b series engines into them and they run anywhere from 14.4-15.0 depending on supporting mods.  Its quite possible that he had a H series motor (h22) in it which would make for almost 170-190 whp and almost 700 pounds lighter so he could've easily got away from you that way.

yes it could have been swaped couse the D16 aint **** in stock form.

I ran into him again he did have an engine swap but it was a gsr motor..
