thats what i think. Is he meant the BCS. Because the actuator is just that. Its only called a wastegate actuator. You dont call it a solenoid. But the Boost Control Solenoid can get stuck cuasing you to not build boost. And the Boost controller doesnt come with one. It replaces it. So you can get either an Electronic BC like the greddy profec-b or you can get a Manual BC which are alot cheap and actually more accurate but more dependant on weather

so getting a bc will eliminate my performance problems since it replaces it as you said...does the manual bc also replace it...

yup a manual boost controller will replace it as well. Because all the BCS is, is a stock boost controller. So any aftermarket one will get rid of the BCS

I use the TurboXS Conversion Boost Controler...flip of a switch gives u more boost
