The gap wont be any different. The change will be in the tire size. Think about it.

What would you do? Would it actually drop more?

Our are you saying that I'd have a bigger size tire rubber wise? As long as there's no gap and I don't have a bigger sidewall, I'm gunna do it.

The gap will be exactly the same regardless (almost) of what you put on it rim wise. To rid yourself of annoying ugly wheel gap, I suggest you get lowering springs.

The gap will remain about the same with your 17s.

This is th eformula I use to figure out diffrent tire and wheel set ups. Once you figure out you stock Overall Diameter then you can go from there.

You have to figure out by yourself because I dont have your tire sizes but here is an example with my stock tires 195/60/15
195x0.60=117x2=234divided by 25.4=9.21+15=24.2 is my overall diameter.
