I have a 2000 G3 Eclispe RS.  I recently changed from pads and rotors and caliper bolts (they were pitted).  About 2 weeks after the change I begin getting a rather violent vibration when I apply the brakes.  My ride is approaching 100K.  The vibration is worse when moderately braking at slower speeds.  The vehicle stops fine but noticibly shakes to the point to where the steering wheel shakes as well.  Has anyone experienced this before and if so is there any direction to correcting this problem.  Any help would be appreciated.  RT

Warped rotors.

You didnt heat cycle them did you.

Get new rotors and try again

Not sure what you mean by heat cycle them?  Not your garage guru, just an inexperience weekend warrior.  Sorry.

Nope.  never been to a Nextel Forum, sorry.  I do not drive this car hard.  Would regular driving conditions warp the rotors. I recently put new tires on it and they aligned it.  Could it be tie rod ends?  I also have never replaced the struts and shocks.  Probably hard to diagnose witht he car being that old.  If I take it out it does not start the vibration right away.  Only after I have been driving for a while.  ?

Yes normal driving conditions will warp rotors.

The heat cycle consists of, driving upto about 100 and reducing your speed to 60 (you dont have to do it really fast) and doing it over and over.

If you buy performance rotors like Brembo. They are a lot less likely to warp
