Where is the outside temperature sensor located on the Montero LTD? It just stopped displaying the outside temperature this week for no apparent reason.

Thanks

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM TOO, ANY BODY KNOW, SOMEDOBY POSTED THAT THE DEALER CAN RESET IT. HOW????

I wish I knew how. The dealer reset mine. It seems to go out if the battery gets low (leaving interior light on or something). I would think the dealer should do it for free. You should not have to pay for that service just because your battery gets low. He did not charge me,but then again my car is under warranty.

I CALL DEALER, THEY SHOW ME HOW TO RESET THE SCREEN.

PRESS THE DISPLAY BUTTON, THEN TURN YOU KEY TO "ACC" FOR 10 SECOND, THEN THE SCREEN WILL TELL YOU THE INSTRUCTION. I THINK AFTER THAT YOU NEED TO TURN YOU KEY TO "ON" POSSITION. THEN CALIRATE THE COMPASS.

I HOPE THIS HELP.

YOU MUST HAVE THE LIMITED. I HAVE QUESTION FOR YOU, DOES YOU CAR MAKE A NOISE BUMP IN THE BACK (REAR AXEL). WHILE DRIVE 35 TO 45 MPH, RELEASE THE GAS PEDAL COMPLETELY, THEN DEPRESS THE GAS PEDAL QUICK, WHEN YOU DO THIS, YOU WILL HERE THE NOISE.

nagoya,

Thanks for the reply on reseting the computer. As far as your question-- I do not get a clunk when accellerating as you described. I tried in on my car over the weekend. It sounds like you have a bad u-joint.
