Hi all,

Please advise me where do I purchase the Pioneer TS-A1781R Coaxial Car Speaker in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada?

Following Crutchfield my front and rear speaker size is 6-3/4" but they not recommended me uses 6-3/4" speakers. Why?

Thanking in advance

Can't you order from Crutchfield?  I'm guessing there's that whole shipping/tariff thing.
Most likely, you need 6.5" or 5.25" speakers because your car probably has a baffle or a speaker plate that centers, pushes out, or pulls in the speakers.  Most of the time, the speakers are smaller than the opening because the plates are used to screw the speakers on instead of the metal....those baffles are cheaper and easier to replace if the hole(s) is stripped.  Car companies do that all the time, it's nothing out of the ordinary, it is a bit odd though, but normal.

Hi silvercouple97,

Yes, I can order from Crutchfield, SonicElectronix or other website. Because of the shipping costs that why I try to find out from local first

I just tried to pull the speaker out. Seem like it's fine for me to replacing the 6-3/4" speakers

Many thanks

Mounting depth is probably the issue, the magnet on the speaker is too large for the factory enclosure. That, or the excursion of the woofer is too much and it'll hit the factory cover.
