I just purchased the Incubus Paranormal 18" for my '99 Eclipse

But because of the change in size, my car feels like a monster truck... lol. But not only that the suspension is way to stiff. I was wondering if anyone can recommed me some nice coilovers and a great suspension kit ( the smoother the ride the better). All help is apprecciated. Thanks

Coilovers are commonly stiff...at least they are supposed to be if you get the right ones.
I would suggest Eibach drop springs and adjustable shocks instead....or...Tein SS or Flex coilovers.  Those are the only coilovers I know of for our cars that will and can give a "soft" ride while still lowered and still do it's job.

I looked them up. The TIEN Flex Coilover System goes for $1359 and the TIEN SS Coilovers go for $949. They say that the SS is better for the weekend racer and mostly for day to day use which sounds perfect for me. But I cant find out how many inches it will drop. If anyone know please help. Also how hard you think it will be to install myself?

Thanks for the help silvercoupe
