Alright, total newbie post, but here it goes...
I have an 06 Eclipse GS. I opted for the Fostgate stereo and am about done with it. I really want a clean sound, I'm usually pretty good with electronics and am going to attempt to install a new system on my own. I want to keep the speakers and sub but am not sure exactly what I need. This is what I've come up with as a shopping list so far, let me know what you think:
Kenwood KVT-719DVD DVD Receiver (or something similar)
Sirius SIR-KEN1 Serius Radio unit
PAC SWI-Jack Steering wheel interface
Kenwood KCA-ip500 iPod Control interface
Alpine MRP-M650 400W x1 Amp
Not sure what all components for installation I need.
I'm not sure if I'm going to need a seperate amp for the speakers. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to rewire the entire system and throw some dynamat in as well. If anyone has any great ideas as well as helpful hints, it would be more than appreciated.
