What is the very best engine that will fit in an eclipse gs???

The 420A that came in it. Doing a swap to a 4G63 is way too expensive and time consuming considering you have to reinforce the frame and countless other things. In the end you will have spent just as much probably more than you would have if you had just bought a GS-T or GSX to begin with. My suggestion is the GSX because with the fwd you seriously limit your horsepower upgrades due to traction problems.

absolutely nothing, i was just saying the rb26 since he was asking about the motor... thats my new answer to any question.  and i was just commenting on it.  it's the first one i've ever seen so.
