I may be able to help, or rather The galant center. Our(U.S.) 4 cylinder galants came with ditributors. The 4 cylinder galants used a 2351cc engine called the 4g64, which is extremely closely related to the 4g63. I'm not sure what 91eclipse was talking about, 400hp is very attainable for a 4g63. Also, the dodge D50 truck came with a 4g64 engine. If you're not familiar with the 4g64, it is the same block as a 4g63 but with an 87.5mm bore and 100mm stroke. It's just as durable as the 4g63 and is a hot swap here in the U.S. The website that will help you is called "The Galant Center". Just do a yahoo search and you'll find it. I think your project is cool, but if i had the option of choosing an engine for that car, i would pick the all aluminum toyota 4.0l v8. Wonderful engine and very durable. There is also a 4.7l version but it has an iron block. The engine code is 1uzfe for the 4.0l, 2uzfe for the 4.7l, and 3uzfe for the aluminum vvti equipped 4.3l. The 3uzfe is the cream if you want a good stock performer, but the 1uzfe is better for modding because it's ecu is easier to hack. Hope everything works out for you.
