Today I washed my car, and i had some plastic grudge stuff on the headlights so i buffed that off and shined it up with some pertectant and then shined up my tires and rims, it's looks so nice.

i have a hunch that it will mess it up on a fine level. sorta like you if you look at it enough you'll start to notice it? what are you going to use it on? just washing you car? if it's for that micro-fiber is the way to go.

ummm..steel wool will harm the paint..what is making you think of using steel wool?

Dont use steel wool, period. A fine grit sandpaper 2000 plus.

I've discovered an Armor All arsenal for washing my car.

Armor All wash and Wax soap.
"           "   interior wipes.
"           "   Foaming tire shine (its in an aerosol can and cleans + shines. amazing!)
Armor All non amonia glass cleaner.

With that cocktail, a good sponge and scrubber, microfiber cloths to dry, your car will look amazing.

its cuz when im at home im parked under a tree and some stuff gets on my hood and i washed my hood like 3-4 times and it still wont come off

94 3kgt sl -> RE: shiny things (6/22/2007 9:20:16 PM)

well have you waxed the car lately.  because with a good layer of wax the dirt or sap should just come right off.  or get a good cleaner wax and go to town.  then after all the stuff comes off, never park the car under a tree again, period.  lol.

haha i have to its the only place for me to park at home  and are u saying that waxing the car will take off the stuff?
