well there arent any real huge hp running 2g's on here.   i'd have to say that TheAdvocate probably has the most powerful 2g on here.. he's running a Forced performance 20g well capable of pushing 430-450ponies.  he's currently swapping out to a 6 bolt b/c of crankwalk and after that is hoping for 400whp.     as for other big turbo's on other cars.   Emonz57 is running a 50. trim on his 03 EVO VIII.  and F.O.G. is running some turbo pushing over 630whp.

You could go with a 60 trim turbo, but without having a built motor there wouldnt be any point in doing it since by the time you spool up you would need to shift...   The 16G is a common one b/c of the spool up time/power you can get out of them..  It equals out nicely..    I personally wouldnt go any bigger than a 50 trim on a 2g eclipse though..

if you are asking what the maximum size turbo you can put on these is.... than i don't think there is a limit.  there are 2 or 3 guys with FULLY BUILT 4g63 drag cars running in the 7's which is f***ing fast.    of course we are talking apx 100k to get it that powerful but hey, it is possible.

your also talking about stripping the motor down after runs and rebuilding it..  Not something the average person can do..

Run a T88 (lol) tell me how long it takes to spool it... i would say a gt 35 would be really big.  Yeah run a .50 trim. Its the best comprimise between power and time it takes to spool.

you dont go into boost? or you dont actually start spooling till 3800?

whats modifications have you done on the car?

their several tricks you can do to your car to make you spool faster, just takes a bit of money.

why do you want such a big turbo? do you seriously plan on running the setup? or did you ask out of curiosity?

Gus
