RE: Endeavor XLS Audio Head & Ipod - 9/4/2007 3:23:08 PM    RMUDBUGS   Posts: 312 Joined: 11/15/2006 Status: offline To hook up the iPod to the 6-disc changer you have 2 options. 1.  Part # MZ607411EX - iPod Adapter - Charges iPod and interfaces so you can use the radio controls to control the iPod functions.  List for $199.95. 2.  Part # MZ360135EX - MP3/iPod Cable - Plugs into the headphone jack on the iPod.  Does not charge or interface.  List for $19.95. The reason I ask is if it is for the 13 Pin plug on hte head, how is the Radio input changed? There is no aux on my unit. It is either Radio or Built In CD. no other choice? I called the dealer to order the part and they advised that the part is not for my 04 Endeavor XLS. I also looked at the back of the Head and there is no 22 Pin connection (unused). So you must be talking about an In-Line cable that goes in betwen the existing modular connection. Why the dealer claims it is not for my vehicle is another thing altogether. Black  = pin 14 Red    = pin 13 White = pin 12 Pin 14 is the bottom left pin.  Move to the right 1 for pin 13 and to the right 1 more for pin 12. I started to inhale the smoke and got high. So high that I decided to write back and scare you. Just kiddin, I am going to try it tonight, should take me 5 min to hook it up. Only 13 and 14 are open. 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 14 13 12 11 10 09 08 My other connecter with 14 pins looks more like this 01 02 03 ------- 04 05 06 14 13 12 11--10 09 08 07  (in reply to RMUDBUGS) Post #: 20
