I sent you a email.  If that does not help than I don't know what to do.  Good luck.  Let me know if it helped any and if it does then fell free to post those pics here for others.

Ronnie, I have an 06 LS model with the stock radio. Any idea if there is an aux input possible to interface in the back of the radio? I would love to connect and external sat radio to the system.

Hey pingman, take out your radio and look at the back of it. If it looks like the picture attached in Post #16 then you have the same unit as me and it will not work. If on the other hand you have a different layout, it will likely work with the cable that RMUDBUGS referred to in Post #17

Is it the single disc player or the 6-disc?

Your options.
Single Disc player has only one:  MZ607411EX witch has the iPod plug.  It charges and intfaces with the radio.  List $199.95

6-Disc player has two options:  MZ607411EX same as single disc.
MZ360135EX witch has a 3.5mm headphone jack.  Does not charge or interface.  List $19.95

Or call your dealers parts department with your VIN# and get the part # for the radio.

Part # 8701A110 uses MZ360135EX or MZ607411EX

Part # 8701A045 uses MZ607411EX only

If you have a differnent part # post it and I will see if I can find any info on it.

Good Luck Pingman, I hope you have better luck than me. Attached is the reference material provided by RMUDBUGS. In my case, my radio does not have a 22 pin connector as illustrated for the 6 CD changer and the 14 pin connector is also nothing like the illustrated. If you need help with removal of the radio, I can provide you with the necessary instructions. It will take all of about 5 min to get the radio out and all you require is a Phillips (Star) screwdriver and a 7/16 socket.

I have an '06 with the single CD stereo.  I can't stand not having iPod access.  $20 for the cable with no charging and no radio control would be just fine for me.  But is the $200 interface the ONLY solution?  That's awfully expensive.  At that price, I'd be better off putting in a new radio with a USB port, an iPod interface and better sound!

Well as said before I know this is an old thread but I found this and it has great reviews and I was wonder if anyone else has tried it.  http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=142FMMOD01&tp=1287
I hope I can post links.
Thanks

I just installed it and it is not very good at all. The issue with the exact unit you referred to above is that the input level from the Device is significantly lower than the signal from the radio stations. The result is that you adjust the volume of the Audio device to Maximum and turn your stereo up to a suitable listening level and then when you change to another FM station, the level is too loud. The other issue is quality. It is not even equal to the quality of hte FM radio signal in my opinion. I must admit that I am not using an actual Ipod MP3 Player. I am using my Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS/MP3 player for the Audio output but... this is a very high quality MP3 player and the sound output is as good as any other.
