everytime i turn on my a/c my car starts to act funny. it gose into low rpms and it almost feels like it will shut off. dose anybody know what could cause this? it also dose this when i turn the air on,  hot or cold on but not as bad as when i turn on the a/c.

Its the compressor engaging... every car does it and its perfectly normal. LOL on the Lotus Elise it can actually cause the car to stall when its super cold lol.

If its that bad, it could be the compresser is locking up... or starting to...

No thats crap... if that was the case then you would hear a horrible noise and the A/C wouldnt be cold anymore
