Howdie, i got a brand new 2006 black evo IX SE. I traded a 2003 SVT focus for it, an AMAZING car. but i'm on a quest... i'm on a quest to up the horsepower to around 360-400. But, I want as little lag as possible... i dont know how easy this is to do, but i know nothing about turbo's... i've had nothing with one... and i'm used to not having any lag... i race with my car and i'm alot like Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder... i know how to race a car, but just dont know about the car... any pointers?

Welcome and disregard any stories you've heard about turbos.  This "turbo lag" that you're afraid of is nothing.
You're also in an EVO, that HP range is very achievable and is "easy" enough to achieve.

lol... sooo who do i ask about my Evo? hahaha.

In any measure... a SVT compared to a normal focus... HUGE difference... but then again there's a HUGE difference between a SVT and an EVO also...

So can this guy that has more Rep then Yoda tell me how and what i should do to my Evo IX?

this guy they all speak of is me hahahahaha.   And yes I can help you out with the IX.  it is vertailly the same as a VIII but with better power potencail and Tq numbers for the most part.

Not to mention the IX takes very very well to mods (not that the VIII doesnt the IX just does slightly better)
