hah..  It can add hp if he has a boost controller and has it cranked up, but is getting restricted by the bov..  An aftermarket bov will hold more boost therefore giving him more power..   But no it wont give you more just by adding one and nothing else

sence we are on the subject of bov i get mine in a day or two. i need to know how i sould start ajusting it. it is a Greddy RS. should i start off ajusting it from hard to soft  or soft to hard. i dont want to do any damage to my turbo when i put it in. has anybody else put on in there car? and if so how do you like it? i alreaddy have the hard pipes in just waiting on the last part.

Well make sure you get the recirculation kit with that!

It will only damage the turbo if it doesnt open. I would keep it in the middle ish. You can usually tell when it doesnt stay open long enough.. or isnt opening
