I've talked around with people that said I could possibly do a 4g63 dohc, supercharged engine swap for my 1.5, its automatic right now. RIght now I have a lil done to it, posted some pics, its black, I did tints all around, back window 5%, back sides same, front sides 35%, front windsheild 55%, JL Audio system, w3v3 3.5" subs, with A1800 amp, pioneer speakers inside, Panosonic head unit, 17" black and chrom R-tech rims, neo gen tires, and car alarm. That is about it. But I love speed and love going fast so I am hoping for some pointers :)

Thnx, my muffler is on it's way soon, need a new paint job, front bumper, get small dings out. etc

I Bought a fujita F5 SRI, Vibrant muffler w/ silencer to make it more civilized the SRI is already loud but sounded good. I bought a NGK spark plug and plugs the blue color. Headers should be from RPW they're the only can make those headers for Mirage, Cat Bac Exhaust I think you can buy them at JCWhitney on line store.. I'm not sure...the brand is with yellow horse on it. like a stallion check their magazine too. JCWhitney Sport Compact cars
Horsepowerfreak.com got some parts for your Mirage too. swapping for a new engine. I don't recommend it because it is very pain on your butt if you do that. lots of work and mechanics are sometimes lazy.
If you want to use your old rear breaks I recommend the Brembo breaks and PBR for the for the front breaks if you have 4G18 engine but if not used Nippon break pads made in Japan. My Rotors were PBR but pads where Nippon
For car Stereo buy a Double Face Dual car stereo color Blue w/ Ipod connection it is about 250 watts with a double face (it goes down and it's cool) buy them at Best Buy because the electrician will install it for free and do it good. they will even tell you what is wrong with wirings.
Shocks KYB cheap and durable. you can buy them any site on the internet. The Price should $120 for a pair for front and back.
Buy A strut bar at Horsepower freaks cheap also.
Rims you can buy a 14 inch rims don't use 15 or 16 it will shake your car doing 65 and up speaking with experience. The brand name of the rims is Pro-Line Gun Metal 14 inch. I like the gun metal because they look on good on black and white cars. They are sold at Pep Boys $200 for 4 rims if they have sale just we have here in Boston
And don't forget the Plastic O-rings on your rims. it is behind the rims you where you put the lugs.
Oil drain plug can be bought at horsepower and more
GOODLUCK AND enjoy Mirage it will sack anything on the road if you know how to handle the car.

Oh by the way don't buy an Aftermarket Headlights or side markers it will not fit on your car. Same with the rear lights.
I recommend cleaning the old headlights inside with soap and water. "Sponge"
it will make it cleaner and brighter with White light or Blue light.
Aftermarket headlights are a pain to install. Body kits Nope Mirage already has factory body kit if you notice the side and front bumper.
Make it a Sleeper like mine. Stay away from State Police they hate our cars.

Lol if you didn't read I have 17" R-tech rims with neo gen tires, panosonic head unit with ipod adaptor, JL Audio amp and subs, etc etc I did that already lol, but the other stuff you mentioned sounds really nice.
