I'm having problems with my drive belts and the AC compressor on my
96 Eclipse RS, I was wondering if there were a way to bypass the AC with
just using a smaller belt....such as one that were in a car without AC. I
don't have the money to replace the AC compressor , and I've been unable to
find a clutch rebuild kit. Is there a way??

I know for a lot of cars they sell ac eliminator brackets which consists of a pulley and a plate that bolt in place of the compressor then you don't have to worry about the belt thing. I looked around a little bit but couldn't find anything. What exactly is the problem with the belts?
