you can pretty much turbo any car you want to. the thing is, it'll cost you a lot of money and the non turbo engine isn't made for it. the 3000gt n/a engine has to high of a compression. adding a turbo will only make it worse. i would recomend not doing it and to save your engine from blowing. look into a vr4 conversion. if you have a 5 speed setup then it'll be easier and cheaper. as long as you keep the car fwd

You can turbocharge a lawnmower. Its just how much work you want to put into it... and how much money. The conversion you wanna do? A lot of both.

for a new person getting into cars, trying to do a conversion i dont think is worth it. Your better off forgetting the turbo for this car and save for a new car if you want something faster. There is just too much involved to do a swap for amatuers

Just a lil'newb input its totally possible but Ive read & heard that tryin to do a conversion on a 3000gt n/a is bad idea and your really better off just getting a vr4

it's the grim truth but the engineer is exact in what he says.  Too much work, and complication for someone who has little knowledge when it comes to cars. Try starting off with a much easier foundation, and one that will give you better results with little money.
