As we all know the passenger side mount on the 3G's suck and rot all the time. I dont want to replace it with the stock part because the same thing will most likely happen so i am looking into geting prothane inserts because the insert is the only thing messed up to my knowlage. My question is, is there a way to just jack up the engine safely with only loosening that one mont and replace the insert or is it going to be a big pain in the @$$ and cost lots of money like every thing else that goes wrong with the 3G's?

Should be okay. I know of a few people that do that to change engine mounts

I looked into it and I ordered the prothane ones and found a video on club3g.com. I've got the front passenger in. I'll attempt the rest next month after I get some other things replaced because im approaching 60,000 miles. Thanks for the help.

All you would have to do is support the bottom of the motor by placing a jack underneath the oil pan and stick a chunk of wood in-between the jack and oil pan for some padding.
