thats the part that looks good, its the inside of the shell, id say the cables are pinned where the frame for the headlights goes into.... or.. maybe the reverse lights... also a mashed socket....

How much wiring is between the layers of sheet metal?  I wouldn't think they would sandwich too much between them...you never know though.

...wait a minute...hold on...just a second.  You are throwing a previously unknown variable into the equation.
If this info is true, it changes everything.

Seb's right, was fine until the head unit was installed. I think, at least. I honestly wasn't paying attention to when they blew, since its happened once before. It was after the unit was installed though.

Who installed the head unit?   Is it the same fuse (for the radio and tail lights)?

I thought maybe that was a possibility.. and it was just drawing too much current... but she put in a 20a.. and that blew... or maybe your asking for a totally different reason

Theres a reason why fuses have a weak variant, its not only shorting, its drawing too much power... the head unit, where was the power pulled from?, as for the reverse lights, to anyone who knows the wiring, theyre are lower obviously, but is there a possibility the plastic of the bumper crushed them against the metal?
