I am looking at buying a 2003 Galant DE Auto. with 83, 000 miles.  Is there anything I should look for?  I have been driving a 1993 Saturn SC2 for the last three years, so I'm not very knowlegable(sp?) where these cars are concerned.  I plan on doing an oil change, tranny flush, basic tune up, and coolant flush soon after purchase.  What i need to know is:  what is the serrvice interval for the timing belt, are these cars prone to burning oil ( my saurn used a half quart every 500 miles), and any other little tidbit that might be hlepful to know.  The car drives good, smooth idle and shifting, no vibration while crusing (well the wheights fell off one wheel, so there is a little vibration, but nothing seriouse).  But like I said, I'm going from a 1.9l DOHC to a 2.4l SOHC, so I dont really have anything to compare the performance to...  Any help would be apreciated.  Thanks..
