On a related note................

Trying to change the O2 sensor on my 96 Eclipse 2.0

It DOES NOT want to come out.  Turns about 3/4 turn (hard to get to there) and then won't budge.

Any suggestions, besides a big cheater bar?  Do not want to damage the pipe/fittng.

Thanks,

Mike

Well... more than likely is crossed... i guess you just have to go at it and hope for the best. Worst comes to worst then you just weld it shut and have a new one welded on.

i need to do this as well im sure cause i can smell gas in my interior when i idle and my idle is very fluttery.... from 900 to 500 to 800 to 1000. i am going to guess this is on a 420a cause no gsx/gst owner will let that happen i got my 420a in january and god knows how long its been since its been changed. where would i pick up the sensor at autozone or advanced?
