So I replaced my upstream o2 sensor, here's the tip of the old one.




Think this may have been the cause of me getting 10-15mpg? lol That black **** is thick, too, you can't even fully tell how bad it is from the picture.

I wonder what the sensor inside that housing looks.  I wonder if you can even see it anymore, lol.

haha...yeah, I'm gonna send that into Guinness.

That is what happens when some dumbass puts an intake hose with two openings on a car and only covers one with an air filter, then drives it for god knows how long.

Oh? I thought all the unfiltered air my car had been sucking in was what had caused the sensor to go bad? Either way, I reset the ECU after putting in the new sensor and so far my mileage does seem to be a lot better, I haven't driven a lot so I'll find out more tonight. I'm expecting my mileage to nearly double, because I was only getting 200-225 miles to a tank.
