It's not the TPS or the MAP because you would still get spark. It could be the ecu but in my experience there were a lot of older fords that had a problem with the Ignition Control Module that this would happen where your engine gets up to temp and your ignition cuts out and stays out until it cools off. The Ignition Control Module could be in the distributor or on the fendor or the intake manifold. I dont really know on your car. You can probably find a pic on the kragen website so you know what to look for.

When it's hot and you have no spark, is there still power to the coil?
