I'm not saying he has to get an Evo, the only reason I even mentioned it is because this is the Evolution forum. If all he cares about is uniqueness and doesn't care about performance, then he should go ahead and do it. But if he is doing this AWD swap to make his car perform better, he's on the wrong path.

How is that the wrong path? It is the right path for HIS car. maybe not the cheapest route for a hp\$$ ratio but for that car it is a big step in performance because it is no secret FWD SUCKs the big ones
