That roof rack looks like it would kill gas mileage on long trips. I like it though. I don't need one yet. The inside hauls everything I need. Where did you get your bulbs from and what was the price and part number. I have a friend that's interested.

I got my red LS2WD in Dec. It's an '04 too. I hope you got a screamin deal. The XLS is nice... the tail lights...the leather shift knob... drool.

Well I'm about to take my first road trip in this car in 2 weeks!!!! So I'll find out about the gas mileage. I got the rack becuase of the limited space in the trunk plus I can carry stuff that would get the car dirty as well as my spare tire when I upgrade them to a more agressive and bigger tire. It would be hard if I didn't have a spare for a tire I would have to order.

As for the lights I got them off ebay for $10 with shipping. The lights are 9007 for the driving and 9006 for the fogs.

Looks good. I didn't think those were real HID. I have real HID's. Looking at my lights even in pictures will blind you. I also had that Autopage remote starter........it gave me a lot of problems. I just switched to the Python.

HEY CAM!
I have the original shift knob.........do you think it will work with yr Outlander?

tchun- is that the euro antenna?

Jmc- are they just the bulbs or swap outs?

and for the auto starters, do the ones you guys have require the key to be in the ignition?

The Euro antenna is a hard antenna so I chose not to get that one. The antenna I got is I flex antenna that I wouldn't have to take off to wash the car. As for the auto start you need a spare key to put into your transponder along with the autostart system. After everything is installed you auto start your car with a push of a button then once you get in the car you have to put the key in the ignition in order to push the break and put it in gear. If this wasn't the case then someone could just drive off with your car. If the key is not in the ignition and you push the breaks the car would turn off.

The lights I have are the real HID's with balasts and the whole 9.
My auto start just needs the key after you start the car.that's it.

JMC, you said you have the "original" shift knob...does that mean LEATHER??
I'd love a leather OEM shift know in my LS. I love the baseball stiching on that thing. All automatic shift knobs are interchangeable between Outlanders.

Oh ya. Mileage report. I get 23 mpg city and I got 26 mpg on my tirp to Vegas (250 miles) doin just a click over 80 mph most of the way. I love cruise control.
