woah, 320 grit? that would leave scratches like a MOTHER! i'm assuming you're gonna have a shop paint it for you? if so just tell them about it and they'll handle it... and you would wanna sand that with at least 500 grit, cause thats the grit you would sand primer with before spraying... and i just caught that your hood doesnt line up with your headlights?? i dunno whats goin on there, all i remember is when i first got my 97 front body kit bumper, the top of it which meets the hood would overlap the 96 stock headlights... so i got th 97-99 projectors off ebay, and it fit perfect, because in 97 they "depressed" that area by the top of the bump so they could make that part of the bumper wider... why? no idea, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do

i'd still go with 500 grit, it'll come out that much better, and you won't have to worry about anything... i went to school for 2 years in auto body, then followed that up with working in a fairly high-end body shop for another two years, 500 was always suggested to block out primer, 1200 for the rest of the panel that didn't have primer on it, and the surrounding panels that were to be blended, or "feathering" as some people like to term it on here... i've seen beautiful, flawless paintjobs come out with these techniques. i figure if you're gonna spend plenty of money on paint, why not go the safe route and make all of that money worth it, right? better safe than sorry
