Got a friend who has a 93 Diamante wagon. Ran great one day and wouldn't start the next. We've replaced the distributor, coil and control module(or ignitor). Still no spark at plugs. Upon further research, I've found the IOD fuse under the hood has no power. Coincidently, the brake lights and tail lights don't work either. Can anyone tell me where the power to the IOD comes from? I've checked all fuses and relays both under the hood and under the dash and all check out good. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also it's the 3.0 SOHC engine. Would a bad cam sensor cause the no spark situation? If so does this car have one or two since it does have a cam in each head. I've heard people talk of defective clocksprings before but don't recall them causing a no start situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. His step-daughter loves this car and is currently driving a junky Mustang four cylinder.
