Im seriously thinking about trading my 04 in for the 06 because the 05's were almost identical to the 04's ive had my eclipse gts coupe for about a year but im very seriously thinking about trading it for the 06 they are looking pretty hot and I have been thinking about how they would look dressed out in my head and thinking it will be hot i got a brochure the other day while getting my car serviced at the dealer and got to talking about it with a sales guy and the tech guy and I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about them and what they think about the 06 eclipse

From what I've seen and read they look really nice. It seems like they're moving back towards the 1st and 2nd gens as far as performance and the image of the car. No offense to 3rd gen owners but I was never that impressed with them, I didn't like how they changed the image of them and took away a lot of the performance aspect of the car. I would def do it if you could swing it, I'd love one of those.

ya those 06' are sweet. 263HP not bad for stock in my opinion. i would do the trade. im wanting to know what kind of goodies the aftermarket industries are going to provide for this mitsubishi toy. what was the engine again a MIVEC? hope thats how to spell it LOL. anyway i would by it if i had the money or the car to trade.
