hi i have a 97 mitsu eclipse gs, non turbo. it have over 160,000 miles on the engine, iw ant to make it turbo but i cannot make a engine with this many miles on it turbo, so i want to do an engine swap, i am looking at a 4g63t engine for my car. i want to know if this can be done, and if so how much would it cost aprox.? please respond thank you

it can be done but it is a long process that invloves moving the upper motor mount getting a new ecu harnness and so on. the best way i can think of doing this is to buy a gst or gsx that has been totaled back end is gone. rip all the stuff out of it i would rebuild the motor head all that funn stuff on it but if you are to buy the car for lets say 500 bucks you now dont need to buy all that extra S**T like the harness ecu and so on. i found a gsx for 300 bucks that just had a bad head everthing else is cherry. have fun and happy hunting.
