I made a mp3 audio DVD with Nero last night. The DVD plays well on a PC but it does not play at all on my Outie's DVD player. So I looked at the Mitsu manual again. The manual never mentions it can play mp3 DVD but mp3 CD and video DVD. So, I realized that the only way to make a mp3 DVD is to make a fake viedo DVD that has a DVD file structure but has mp3 as its main content. This can be done by any DVD authoring tools. However, I'm lazy to use complicated tools for such a job. Here is what I found simple and working for me: http://audio-dvd-creator.com/guide.htm The advantage of an audio DVD is that you can rip a CD with much higher quality (or even lossless) than the Outie music server does. It is believed that the Outlander music server, just like other similar products, rips CD at a bit rate of 128kbps. Of course, a DVD can store lots of CDs if you pick 128k rate. The one I made is 256k, containing 22CDs. Cheers
