That's the Gen 1 Outlander Turbo - comes with a de-tuned evo engine sporting 202 hp here in Sweden (and probably the rest of europe, the picture shows a German car).

It's actually being sold parallell to the gen 2 here for some reason.

And hi everyone - been lurking for a couple of weeks, waiting for my Outlander which is to be delievered in November... Was supposed to get an '07 about now, but they couldn't get hold of one, even though it was confirmed, so they bumped me to an '08 and gave me a discount on the higher price charged for the '08 (2.2 instead of a 2.0l diesel).

I suppose European dealers should be able to sell the turbo hood as a spare part, but it's probably pretty expensive.

Hi Malu, good to see another European on the forum!
The 1st gen Outlander Turbo stays a great ride! I once testdrove one.

So you're getting the Outlander 07 with the 2.2 HDI engine from PSA (citroen-peugeot).. I think you should be glad they ran out of the 2007 model, since that 2.0l diesel engine from VW is a plain old-fashioned engine with the notorious disadvantages of mainstream diesel engines: noise in the interiour, pollution, particulate matter from your exhaust (no filter)
That HDI engine is said to be smoother & cleaner. and more powerful of course. At Citroen, cars with this engine are very expensive!

I hope you'll have plenty of fun with your outlander after the long wait :)
