Well its not hard to extend the harness. You go to the auto parts store and pay 7$ and it plugs into the harness and then leaves you the same end left for trailers to plug in. Its a simple plug in and your ready to go. I could of welded a bracket on the other side but I didnt want to grind the paint and re paint it since it was on my car.

Hey ant, is that harness end connector still the OEM part or did you need to buy an "extension" just to route it to the left side? Is the OEM wires long enough to be routed to the left?

Everything is OEM beside the 12" extension. The OEM harness will reach up to the right side of where you put the ball mount on the hitch. But since my "hidden hitch" mount for the harness was on the left side I needed to extend it. At this point in the wire harness your down to white, brown, green and red. I could be wrong on the colors but its the standard 4 colors. Its not like your splicing into other harness's or mis-matching colors. The extension matches the OEM harness.
