I am contemplating removing my back seats in my 2001 Eclipse and was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas on how to go about doing this. I have just bought this car and I really want to start working on it and have some things in plan but just thought about this as an idea. Thankx

back seats usually come out in two stages the bottom and the top the bottom is only held in usually by some clip type thingys and they slide out and u un bolt the bottom of the back where it rotates and after u un bolt that u un hook the top like ur laying the seats down and remove them they are pretty simple

I got my rear seat out in only about 5 mins.  I built a box in the back and carpeted it. just got done. still need to glue the carpet down.
